The “Job Creation and Entrepreneurship Opportunities for Syrians under Temporary Protection and Host Communities in Turkey” project is implemented in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to strengthen the economic and social resilience of Syrians under Temporary Protection (SuTP) and host communities. On the government side, the overall coordination is ensured by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Affairs DG International Labour Force. “Public Employment Services and Basic Life Skills” trainings will be conducted by ILO in Ankara among the 9 target cities within this project.
A total of 10 trainings will be held in Ankara between 31 October and 22 November and it is aimed to reach 400 participants. During the training, ISKUR Business and Vocational Counselor and municipality employees will be accompanied by Kasım Karataş Head of Department Social Services / Hacettepe University and one person from the moderators’ team created by Kasım Karataş.
Trainings will cover the following topics;
- Obtaining work permits
- Adaptation to social life
- Gender issues and prevention of violence against women
- Access to public services in Turkey
- Rights and obligations in working life
- Information that may be needed in daily life
