Work permit applications for foreigners living in Turkey are made by employers who want to employ the foreign person. If you have also agreed to start a job with a workplace and your employer is going to apply for your work permit, it must give approval as stated in the announcement below.

It is stated in the Ministry’s announcement as follows:

“While applying for a work permit, it has been announced that in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, clarification test’s approval prepared by our Ministry and obtaining the explicit consent of the relevant person are obligatory.

In accordance with the provisions of the Electronic Notification Regulation, it is necessitated to verify the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the e-declaration officer or user when applying for a work permit.”
